Well, we have been in Ohio for the past 10 days or so. The last 2 Sundays we have been meeting with some friends up here for church, and then street preaching afterwards. Dad preached a "short" (those of you who know Dad know what that means!) sermon this Sunday on the differences between a serious Christian and one who isn't really living it. The title was "Sober, Serious, Solemn, Sensitive, Separated and Satisfied; or Silly, Sleepy, Sad, Sickly, Slothful, Sinful and Shameful: What type of Christian are you?" It was the longest sermon title he's ever had, but not the longest sermon...although it was probably pretty close, at almost an hour and a half. It was very good, though.

I finally got another video ready to put up. I have been putting together some DVD's of street preaching for Dad, so I haven't had much free time. Anyways, this one is just a compilation of street preaching with our home church last month. Most of it is from spring break.

I just finished reading a book about soul winning called "One Heartbeat Away". The author had part of a poem in there that was written by an African martyr. I really liked the poem, and thought I would share it.

I am part of the "Fellowship of the Unashamed."

The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line.

The decision has been made. I am a disciple of

Jesus Christ. I won't look back, let up, slow down,

back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present

makes sense, and my future is secure.

I am finished and done with low living, sight walking,

small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams,

chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals.

I no longer need pre-eminence, prosperity, position,

promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I now live by

presence, lean by faith, love by patience,

lift by prayer, and labor by power. My pace

is set, my gait is fast, my goal is Heaven, my

road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few,

my Guide reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bought,

compromised, deterred, lured away, turned back,

diluted, or delayed.

I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the

presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy,

ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander

in the maze of mediocrity.

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I must go until

Heaven returns, give until I drop, preach until all know,

and work until He comes. And when He comes to get

His own, He will have no problem recognizing me.

My colors will be clear.

I am not ashamed of the gospel . . . Romans 1:16
I was going through some old street preaching videos recently, and found some really good ones. I'll probably put a few of them up, but today I'll just do one from spring break last year in Panama City Beach, FL. This is our friend Rob dealing with a man who was either on drugs, or else just crazy! It's pretty funny. Enjoy!

We are in Alabama now, and boy is everyone homesick! We miss the home Church so much. Anyways, we left P.C. after the wedding on Saturday, and came up here. Dad preached Sunday evening service at a Church here in Enterprise. Our Pastor and his wife, as well as another couple from our home Church, came up for Church Sunday evening. It was such a blessing to have them with us, even if it was only for a few hours!
